Nietzsche and the Cows

Nietzsche suffered from a number of disorders that caused him undue suffering. Had he been less thoughtful, maybe he would have lived a happier life. But would it have been more fulfilling for him? Probably not. I think he enjoyed his misery thinking about things. And despite the kind of suffering that comes from our existential angst, that's also accompanied by so many beautiful things about being human.
