The Angels Have Intercessory Power
We get that from scripture around God's throne, the angels are crying out and praising God. That is what we get to unite ourselves with. We join our prayers to the prayers of the angels. And when we come together at mass, we are invoking the intercession of angels. Angels have intercessory power. So do the saints, right? All those who are in God's presence,. The book of Revelation points out that the lift up prayers to the Lord were people on earth crying out.
