I Was a Writer's Assistant, Uh, and It Was the Typing Speed
"I always wanted to make television. Because that's the job I think I really want to deep down," he says. "My job for my first few years there was I would sit in the room and, because I was this great typist, um, my job was to write down what all of the jokes that people were pitching" He eventually became a writer on the show. "'Cause Dennis Miller got hired to do publicity for Microsoft and he came and hang out with us. And I, I made him laugh."
