The Importance of the Imprecatory Psalms
The book of Nahum shows us the beauty of the imprecatory Psalms. Though they prayed for their enemies' demise, they placed their trust in the Lord's vengeance and not their own. As Nahum ends, his message would lead to great rejoicing from the nations of the world because evil Assyria met her demise.
