Islamic Islam and Bioethics: A Takeaway
Mohammed Ghali: I think that more Irenic approach might win over people better. Muslims, like any other human beings, they have their own moral world. This moral world is a complex one, a vast structure. Part of it is religious, for sure, but not only. And the problem is that in order to answer these questions, the answers are not ready made. So you cannot go to the Quran directly and then you will find the answer or the Sun. There is a level of history had of heavy weight reasoning that should be done. It requires involving people from different disciplines such as Sharia and biomedical sciences. That's what I'm trying to do on a daily basis
