Madu Bakanola's dad was a member of the DC37 Local 371 Union. He found it empowering to advocate for others in a like-minded community. The union was an outlet, a social outlet and a vehicle to problem solve with other people. If your organization doesn't have any affinity groups, why not? Let the people who work for you create a space where they can connect.
