Introduction
Jerry Chen is a general partner at Greylock. He works with startups building enterprise applications and infrastructure, particularly those purpose built for cloud native ecosystems. In 2022, we saw about $17.5 billion invested across a little bit over 400 companies. Now to put that in context, that's a huge drop from 2021. So remember, 2021 was probably the peak of the pandemic years when we saw over $50 billion of VC financing.
