The Importance of Being a Man
I can't blame my rap dads any more than I can blame myself, especially at my big age. They say misogyny is rooted in hatred. I never thought of myself as a hater, least of all, of black women. That love nurtured me even when I didn't fully love myself. It's forced me to consider my own complicity.
