The Contrast Between Human Wisdom and Divine Wisdom

1 Corinthians 2, verses 6 through 16 is not the easiest passage of scripture to preach. It can be rather confusing and congregations can get easily confused if it's not preached clearly. One thing that needs to be pointed out when preaching or teaching this chapter is that Paul makes a contrast between two kinds of wisdom. The Holy Spirit is both the revealer and receiving end of divine wisdom.
