How to Encourage Friends to Speak Out
For parents, I think what you can do is take into account the university's commitment to academic freedom when you help your child decide which school to attend. Don't get in a social media mobbing or signing letters of denunciation. The trustees, you can, you will point the administrators so if they don't uphold academic, academic freedom, just replace them. Every citizen out there, you can talk to your lawmaker and say, you know, we pay for this research. We want our scientists to be chosen based on their merit as scientists because we're the ones paying for it.
