Crew: A New Framework to Spin Up Distributed Workers
The crew package is a new framework to spin up distributed workers in a much more performant way than what we see in the past. You can fold crew into a shiny app to put as your back end for asynchronous processing and take it for somebody who's been looking at this a little bit with colleagues at my day job. If you've been scared of say the promises package and integrating that with future into your shiny apps, have a look at crew folks. The hype is real.
