The Pros and Cons of Moving Private Orthopedic Surgery to Private Clinics
Opposition parties have been asking, why not pony up more money to have doctors perform these operations when there is space available in the operating rooms? That's a good question. Why would the government do it this way instead of pumping more money into the public system? The worry is that this is going to be a drag on the personnel from the public system. And another whole concern is that taxpayers will be on the hook for more money for this.
