Marie Antoinette and the Comte De Provence

Young lafayette looks at the comte de provence, a plump young man holding court. He is surrounded by sycophants nodding at his apparent brilliance. Then in strides marie antoinette, aged 18, flanked by a coterie of ladies in waiting. The room instantly shifts to make her the centre of attention. Young lafayette observes this from his perch on the wall. But nobody even notices he's there.
