Do Hard Rules Work?

For me, hard rules do not work. I will not have more than three active projects per area. The act of writing it down helps me thinking about think about it in a particular way. If i turn my field of view five degrees to the right, i can immediately see in front of me things that i have predecided to care about. So the tiny bit of re work isn't really re work, is actually an investment. And and i've found that that has been a good way of helping me manage my, my back and forth juggling too.
