i think that prudent risk taking, and sayin to take on this big project o responsibility or duty or opportunity were theout comes is uncertain, i think that te level of that is essential for a career to advance. Otherwise you don't seem that that' specialik, poke, you. You have to stand out eventually and with some consistency in other ways. There's such difference between just being courageous and being competently courageous.

Detert's research focuses on employee voice and other forms of workplace courage, experiential leadership development, and ethical decision-making and behavior.
