I never override an engineering estimate because it never leads to a good place. I feel very strongly that if I don't respect their expertise, they'll start sandbagging me anyway. Nobody should get too attached to the product because it's going to get torn apart all the time based on customer feedback. And building a culture where it's okay to come two weeks later and say, "We're going to have to tear this thing apart"
