The Pressure to Be Proud
I'm proud that I live sort of an authentic life and that I'm out. And I'm hopefully a positive. But yes, I wish I could say the same with myself. The more I share, the more I put people off. It does feel like... You know, I'm no more proud of my inherent gainness than I am proud of sort of being dyslexic. That's just sort of part of me. I'm proud of how I sort of live openly. There are Pride flags everywhere though. They're very impressive. Small places have prides now in a way that would have been kind of laughable five years ago now. Look at it in June: A
