The History of Space Law

After Sputnik went up into outer space on the 4th of October, 1957, right after that the United Nations came together and started to create a committee on the peaceful uses of outer space. And we had the first treaty ready and entered into force in 1967. That treaty today has 113 member states. There are four more treaties for other treaties. All of those were concluded in the 1960s and 70s.
