Mattel's Response to the Hoax
The environmental group behind the hoax is again attempting to criticize Mattel's role in pollution through its use of plastic. The United Nations Environmental Program report found that toys are the most plastic intensive consumer good in the world. American researchers last year did quantify what each doll costs the climate. Every single 182 gram doll results in 660 grams of carbon emissions.
