The Pros and Cons of Buying a Rental Vehicle
It's even a worse idea to buy a vehicle from a rental car fleet than it ever was. The vehicles are not being maintained well by the rental car companies as they were not used to having to take care of vehicles that might have as many as 50,000 miles on them. I would not look at buying a used vehicle from one of the rental fleets. I think it's asking for trouble.
