Personal Finance Classes Are Not Mandatory
For many people, at least in this country, the closest thing to a personal finance class and a public school is going to be home economics. The individual person would probably be in a much better position to day if personal finance classes were mandatory. A lot of people don't get that, and that's why we end up in a country where the total debt owed by us consumers,. i can break it down. So credit cards, 733 billion dollars. Pales in comparison, of course, to auto loans, one point o, eight trillion dollars. And then we have student Loans, one point two, three trillion dollars. Finally, mortgages, eight point two, five trillion dollars.
