Cassandra was from Troy and was the youngest daughter of King Priam and Queen Hecuba. She had a fairly easy life as a princess, with plenty of food, friends, and entertainment. Some of these suitors were even gods themselves, including Apollo, son of Zeus. Cassandra liked Apollo alright, I mean, he was a god after all, but she wasn't sure about the whole marriage thing.
