The Equations of Motion of the Universe Aren't Symmetrical, Right?

The equations of motion of the universe basically don't have position in them, they just have velocities. And changes of position is velocity, and velocity is basically momentum pray. But i guess the question then is, why does the fact that it's the same here or there? Why does that mean that, you know, objects in motion stay motion, and objects an address stay ad rest? It might seem weird to connect these two quantities, momentum, right? And position. Yes, another way to think about it is that the have relative positions, and you shift everything over, nothing changes its only changes in position are important.
