The Role of Trachea in Pediatric Anesthesia

The traditional question used to be compared, what they were getting at in these questions was that the narrowest portion of the adult airway was the glottis. And now we haven't necessarily changed our view about adults, but we just don't share whether kids are the same or whether it's the cricoid. So I would say if anybody sees that question on an intranial exam or a board exam in the next few years, I would still stick with the traditional answer.
