If you believe that life or anything has intrinsic value, then actually that is the strongest argument for God. Faith is coherent. It gives an explanation but to understand what that means, you need to explore God. We cannot pretend as scientists we sort of are trained to do, but we can't actually do it to be observing the universe from outside. As Heisenberg told us, the observer influences the outcome of it because we are part of this creation.
