What Makes Up Soil?

Our soil is essentially made of three key ingredients. It's water, organic material and minerals - things like clays or sand. When you get down and smell the soil, it smells healthy. But when we look att a soil that's been what we call degraded, so not looked after, it's lost a lot of its properties That allow it to function as a healthy eco system.
