The Importance of Intuition
The key is going to be in the terms under what you do that. I think it'll become more clear later on. He does suggest a hierarchy of knowledge here where he says intuition is greater than deduction, which in turn is greater than induction. All of these are functions of the understanding. Deduction introduces the possibility of error more so than intuition and then an induction, even more so on top of that.
