The Importance of Recovering and Retelling the Stories of Enslaved Women and Maroon Women
In your book, A Feminist Theory of Violence, you speak about the importance of recuperating and retelling the stories of enslaved women. In France it was activism, really deep activism in Antian Paélistan and Chéorist. I felt that the French did not get rid of the way in which their country was that country because of slavery and colonialism. For me for a while, very attached to the south was constantly going back to Algeria or going back to Reineux.
