It's only complete silence that can bring about a total revolution in the psyche, not effort, not controlled, not experience or authority. To come upon that silence, you have to go through all this. Either you do it instantly, or you take time in analysis. And when you take time through analysis, you have already lost silec so analysis, which is psychoanalysis, analyzing oneself, does not bring freedom.
