How to Get Noticed Online and Get a Job

I'm really fascinated by people who make career changes. How did it work for you? Were you like to be noticed online or were you actively soliciting jobs? For me, I feel like I have no clue how I'd get started with children's books other than to make my own and put it up on Amazon but that's clearly not the path that you took. Right, I hadn't even been trying to get work at the time. I think I was pretty lucky. Always be making new work and putting it up on your website and gently talking about it.
