The Hard Problem of Explaining Consciousness
David Chalmers coined the famous phrase, the hard problem of explaining consciousness. He asks how our rich vivid experience of the world can possibly be connected with simple flesh and blood. Does your work make the hard problem a little easier? You don't have to see it as suddenly arising in matter that is alien to consciousness. Matter already has something to do with consciousness. It's panpsychism, the idea that everything effectively has some aspect of consciousness. But this is now a very well respected position amongst philosophers.
