The book is in some ways a litany about what we have been mistaken about. Hedgehogs did not roll in grapes and then run with the grapes on their spines, like sort of 70s cocktail waiters,. That didn't happen. You know, Pliny was wrong. And giraffes are not made by breeding leopards and a camel and a hyena and a cow because that would be very stressful. But you know, we will have as much wrong now.
