The History of Alcohol in the White House

The tradition of a wine cellar and alcohol in the White House went all the way up until Hoover, who was anti-prohibition. When you look at alcohol from that period of prohibition on, it was pretty boring, honestly. There's not much that happened until you get to Kennedy. He had a bar at his state party for when he became president and served martinis in the White house.
