Plotinus' Principle of Reality
The one is the principle that makes everything else real. It can't in any way be multiple, so Plotinus calls this the one. He doesn't mean the single. This is that by which reality is realized and our mind realizes reality. At the height of Plotinus' system is a higher state of consciousness,. But notice, it's completely integrated with the best science and the best scientific psychotherapy of the time. They are all beautifully, mutually supporting, interwoven, and meshed together.
