Can I Just Reject It?

An authority not our own. And I personally think that that's really dangerous. You know, one of the examples from my own faith process and lived experience, there was a time when I was looking at the story of Joseph Smith and I was questioning the prophethood of Joseph Smith up until his martyrdom. So there's an example of some of my lights were out, but some were still on. It didn't make sense to my very black and white thinking father that I was struggling with my witness of Joseph Smith,. But I could still engage the Book of Mormon and come out spiritually fulfilled.
