The Modern Situation Depends on Hybrids
The modern situation depends on hybrids. As the diagram he gives right shows them as the substrator, the bedrock, of the modern constitution. But yet, we, we refuse to acknowledge their participation and the fact that our entire modern way of life is built on the backs of hybrids. We refuse to talk about it. And there's a kind of feticizing of what is outside of us, and how can we know that it is? Or everything comes from within us, and everything is determined by ourselves, and we get tied up in knots in either way. That's pretty fair.
