The Big Banjo - The Musical Instrument of the World
The banjo is a stupendously efficient transducer. If you replace this with a thin piece of wood, it doesn't sound at all like a bancho. It sounds an awful lot like a dulcimer. So they're like banjos o themselves. There goards with wells drings. There are in africa to this day. A guard drum sot's a skin head, a drum, a stick and the strings. Ca, and i was saying, around the world there are versions of that. And in america there 're people who play all of them to this day,. And make o make new ones in those styles.
