The Power of Prophecy

I want to make sure that we as a church value his written word because there's so much power in this and I've seen churches that pursue prophetic words suddenly be so into I think I heard God say this. This is where the power is. How else can we be discern what people say whether it's of God unless we know this book? And so I just want to made sure that we don't cheapen God's word and that we're also careful. When we say hey I think God said something to me. Let's be very careful. We want you to pursue that but let's be careful how we express that.
