Craig Anderson's Killing

Daryl Deadman was sentenced to 50 years for his federal hate crimes. John Rice, who had instigated the unprovoked attack on Craig, was given 18 years and four months imprisonment. The remaining members of the racist gang, John Blaylack, Shelby Richards and Sarah Graves were each charged with committing a hate crime against Craig Anderson which carried a possible life sentence. They cited drunken judgment, youthful foolishness and peer pressure from Darryl Deadman for their participation in the attacks. Each pleaded not guilty but later changed their pleas to guilty.
