Making Pithon Faster

There's a lot of stuff on the horizon to keep an eye out for. And these three peps, i think, are a good reminder of that. I'm talking about the making sea faster, or making pithon faster. A slide deck from guido in he mentions various other optimizations,. like maybe zero overhead exception at handling. In three 11 we have aa, mark shannon implementing a zero cost exceptions. So even if my little example wasn't necessarily faster, maybe maybe something else, there's maybe other situations where it is nice. Even anything else you wanted to throw out there for people?
