If you have no months of runway, which is that was me, i would highly recommend looking into unemployment. It's so much easier to get unemployment right now. So if you don't have runway, i would then suggest to start saving for it. But like when i was younger, i always just had this mind set of, i can't afford to save now. I'll save later. Nobody likes saving. Start with a dollar. You know, personally, i think 20 % is a good goal. But if that's overwhelming, start with one per start with two percent.
