Allan Thire was a great speaker for someone just onowh for i we knew nothing. He told it in a way which made it really easy for me to understand, not just what he was going to end up talking about. But now there'sa puzzle about why is the universe so homogeneous, so uniform? Why is the universe not curved when it could be? Andand then he had this great idea that this could be due to a, of all things, a phase transition that occurred in the early universe. Ah, and i just sat there stunned. It has great he solved ta big problem. The final five minutes, he explained why the idea fails.
