Compassion Is a Small Act of Compassion

Schobnar subdivides the category of compassion into two forms, one which he calls justice. The word is mentioned liber which would literally mean the love of humanity but it often gets translated as loving kindness. Justice is the passive form of compassion, in that you the suffering of another person or you recognize that they suffer, and you refrain from harming them. Whereas kindness is the active form of compassion, where you actively try to help some one to the extent that you can.
