Using the Laser Cannon to Model Multiple Variables
We have systems of variables, right? We have multiple predictors. What are some fun things that we can do to help loosen up the rules when it comes to multiple variables simultaneously? Well, let's say we have X1, X2, and X3 predicting Y, all right? That's a main effect model. The regression coefficient for X2 is the unique relation between X2 and Y above and beyond the effects of X1 and X3. And so everything we've described so far has been manipulations around a single variable. But you know what? I want a pink laser cannon that shoots out rainbow colored unicorns.
