Regret is our most instructive and transformative emotion. No regrets is a ridiculous philosophy. What we should be doing is reckoning with our regrets in a sensible way, because they point the path to a good life. Thereis a huge amount of evidence of that. It can help us perform better at work and at school. It can deepen our sense of meaning. And so what i'm trying to do is, you know, again, in a very evidence bace way, to say, wo we've gotten this wrong.
