The Eucharist and the Epistle to the Hebrews

The Eucharist may be a very important, though implicit theme in Hebrews. Stephen Farrig demonstrates that the text is best read as a Eucharistic homily. Paul can write of baptism as a given and describe or allude to the Eucharist like he does in 1 Corinthians 10 and 11. And I believe that provides the context that would make the text intelligible to its earliest readers back in the first century but also more comprehensible for readers today.
