The Cognitive Capacity to Know Universal Truths

Natural selection can be expected to give us a certain kind of knowledge, says Richard Slagel. But an unguided process of evolution couldn't be expected to giving us at all, he argues. The cognitive capacity to know those things is not needed for reproduction or life in the caveman-like way that some evolutionary theories suggest.
