The Water Revolution
Over a two months period, more than 20 thousand villagers were trained in the science of watershed management. These villagers then returned to their villages to sow the seeds of a water revolution. Villagers who had once struggled for a single tanker of water created with their own hands structures that could harvest more than 222 billion liters of water. This quantity of water would fill more than 22 million tankers. If these tankers were lined up, they would circumnavigate the earth more than three times. It is this human spirit, this determination, that has kept the reins captive. Thank you.
