The Importance of an Impact Assessment
Sasha Lilly speaks with David Bond, co-director of the Center for Advancement of Public Action at Bennington College. He says impact assessments are an important concept in managing fossil fuels rather than eradicating them and other toxics as well. In effect it's about living with whatever the harm is and accommodating oneself as best one can or as safely hopefully as one can instead of actually getting rid of it altogether.
