The Alroz Algorithm for Matching Potential Organ Donors

The idea behind using Alroz algorithm was to make it so transplant centers could simply enter the medical and demographic data on potential organ donors and recipients, type in a few keystrokes. Matching a potential kidney donor is harder than it sounds. Not only does any given person have one of four major blood types but we also each have our own stew of antibodies and antigens. We really need a computer to look at it not just to do any kind of matching but really to optimize the matching.
